Look at the wreckage. Many of the biggest and most respected names in Insurance and many other industries got clobbered by things they could have seen with a bit more diligence, but didn't. Do you really want to tell your employees, shareholders, and others "Sorry..." when something happens? And eventually, something does happen...
You can, but you must work with people to redefine who they are in the context of their organization and their job. Change those definitions and you change the person. If not, you'll encounter resistance. This seems obvious...so why is it routinely overlooked?
AI will help you sift through massive amounts of data, discover new patterns, and provide better insight...but not until the data is tokenized and models are trained. It will extend employee capability, not replace employees. The central challenge will not be AI, but upskilling the workforce to utilize it properly.
